Akram Abdulfattah (b. 1990) is a Palestinian-American violinist, composer, and producer whose music bridges cultures and traditions. His cross-cultural albums have earned international recognition, including BBC 6’s “Beat of the Week” and a 4-star review in Songlines Magazine.

At BLR Hubba, Akram returns to India to present his Indo-Arab project called Sirat Trio. The many styles in this project are instrumental, spiritual and authentic played with modern instruments, Shree-Tar (an improvised 5-string Mandola redefined by Mandola Joy) and Six-string Violin accompanied by Indian percussion.

Opening Act: At BLR Hubba, Ila Diliip, violinist, vocalist, and co-founder of the Bangalore based ensemble Lakkshya, presents a striking reinterpretation of the group’s original music. Joined by percussionist Ranjini Venkatesh, the duo weaves contemporary expression through their carnatic classical depth.
